9 to 5 THE MUSICAL is 2 hours and 20 minutes, including a 20 minute intermission. If you need to leave the theater for any reason, please be respectful of other audience members enjoying the performance.

Meet the Cast of 9 to 5 the Musical

  • Jessica Coker (Violet)

    Jessica is excited to be back on stage with her home theater ROLT for over 20 years. Previous shows include Spring Awakening, Little Shop of Horrors, Lizzie, Carrie and Jerry Springer the Opera. Other theater credits include Head Over Heels, Gravity (a Newtonian musical), Elf the musical, Heathers, Smokey Joes Cafe, Ragtime, Urinetown and The Little Mermaid to name a few. She can’t wait to see what future mom and teacher roles await her career. Jessica is a dog mom, hair color enthusiast and is incredibly grateful to Rob for being so patient while she abandons their family to do shows.

  • Majesty Scott (Judy)

    Majesty Scott is a triple threat that earned a BA in Theatre and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley. She has trained at and worked with the American Conservatory Theatre, Broadway by the Bay, Woodminster, Hillbarn Theatre, Napa Valley Performing Arts and California’s Great America just to name a few. She has starred as Elle Wood (Legally Blonde), Deloris (Sister Act), Aida (Aida), Pattie (Smokey Joe’s Café), Radio 1 (Carolina or Change), Lorrell (Dreamgirls), and Charlayne (Ain’t Misbehavin). Majesty has been privileged to perform in historical venues such as the Wembley Arena (London, England), the Tropicana (Las Vegas), the Chase Center (San Francisco, CA) and the Paramount Theatre (Oakland, CA).   • Malia Abayon (Doralee)

    Malia Abayon (Doralee) is thrilled to make her Ray of Light debut—and deeply grateful to be cast as a Backwoods Barbie, a role she never imagined she’d get to play! She was most recently seen understudying Dawn in Waitress at SF Playhouse. Other Bay Area credits include Lizzie (Lizzie Borden), Evita (Mistress u/s), Guys and Dolls, In the Heights (u/s Nina), The Book of Will, Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey u/s), and Cabaret (Kit Kat Girl). Favorite past roles include Mimi (RENT), Adela (The House of Bernarda Alba), Acid Queen (The Who’s Tommy), and Revelations the Musical (off-Broadway). Malia holds a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from UC Davis, teaches elementary school, directs and choreographs youth theater, and leads Inferno Hot Pilates classes at Energize Hot Yoga in Santa Rosa.

  • William Giammona (Franklin Hart)

    A San Francisco native, Will is happy to be making his Ray of Light debut after recently performing in many 42nd Street Moon productions including: Marvin in Falsettos, Franklin Shepard in Merrily We Roll Along, Steven Kodaly in She Loves Me, Herbie in Gypsy, Carl-Magnus Malcolm in A Little Night Music, Ivan Molokov in Chess, and Tommy Albright in Brigadoon. Other favorite roles include: Ron/Cat in Iron John (TheatreWorks), Robert in Company (Altarena), Carl-Magnus Malcolm in A Little Night Music (Lamplighters, Hillbarn), Napoleon/Alex in Sunday in the Park with George (SF Playhouse), Leo Frank in Parade (Palo Alto), Thomas Weaver in The Story of My Life (NCTC & CCCT), Billy Flynn in Chicago (Hillbarn), and Princeton/Rod in Avenue Q for four sold-out seasons (NCTC).     Mary Kalita (she/her) is #sothrilled to be returning to ROLT! Past ROLT credits include Kinky Boots (Trish), Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey – SFBATCC award), Reefer Madness (Placard Girl), The Who’s Tommy (Sally Simpson).   • Milo Boland (Joe)

    Milo is excited to be back at Ray Of Light playing Joe in 9-5! Milo is a graduate of Oakland School for the Arts Musical Theatre program. After graduating from OSA, Milo attended Muhlenberg College and graduated with a BA in Theatre. Previous Credits include San Francisco Playhouse’s (U/S Ogie & Chorus), NCTC’s Ride the Cyclone 2024 & 2025 (Ricky Potts), Center Rep’s A Christmas Carol (Seller/Marlett/ Young Scrooge & Fred Hastings U/S ), Ray of Lights Cruel Intentions (Ensemble/Swing/Greg U/S) & Kinky Boots (Harry/Ensemble/Charlie and Don U/S), 42nd Street Moons She Loves Me (Ensemble), Berkeley Playhouses Head Over Heels (Musidorus), Fun Home (U/S Roy/Pete/Mark/Bobby Jeremy), & Matilda (Doctor/Escapologist), and Landmark Musical Theatre's RENT (Roger).   • Jay Thulien (Dwayne/Ensemble)

    Originally from Canada, Jay has thoroughly enjoyed working with the immense talent in the Bay Area, and is honored to finally join Ray of Light in this production. Previous musical theat(re) work include Mary Poppins, Full Monty, Mamma Mia, Sister Act, 25APCSpelling Bee, Joseph ATATD, Music Man, Singin’ in the Rain, The Producers, Miss Saigon, Company, Dogfight, A Funny Thing Happened...Forum, Anything Goes, Forbidden Broadway, RENT, Reefer Madness, Titanic, Jekyll and Hyde. Jay is also a classical pianist, stage and music director, and generally hilarious guy.

  • Andrea Dennison Laufer (Margaret/Ensemble)

    Andrea (She/Her) is so excited to be back at ROLT for 9 to 5! Past roles: Miss Hedge- Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Pat- Kinky Boots (Ray of Light Theater), Mrs. Green- The Prom, Evelyn Nesbit- Ragtime, Star to Be- Annie, Ariel- Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and Kate Monster/Lucy the Slut- Avenue Q (Berkeley Playhouse), Christmas Past- Scrooge in Love, Lizzie Curry- 110 in the Shade (42nd Street Moon), Hannah- Disney’s Freaky Friday (Center Repertory Company), and Charlotte Lucas- Pride and Prejudice (Milwaukee Repertory Theater) where she was a member of the Artistic Intern Ensemble.   • Ben Lauing (Dick Bernly/Ensemble)

    Ben Lauing is stoked to make his Ray of Light debut with 9 to 5! A Bay Area native, Ben grew up performing at the Palo Alto Children’s Theatre before continuing his training at A.C.T. and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. After a decade away from the stage, he made a triumphant return to theatre in 2023 and has since appeared in A Christmas Carol at Center REP, Rent and The Prom at Berkeley Playhouse, and The Boys in the Band at Pacifica Spindrift Players.

  • Madeline Lambie (Missy/Ensemble)

    Before clocking in for 9 to 5, Madeline was most recently seen as a Raptor (X-Tina) in Michael Phillis’ Jurassiq Parq with OASIS. Previous ROLT credits include Cruel Intentions (Assistant Director / Ensemble), American Psycho (Christine), Rocky Horror (Assistant Director), and Jesus Christ Superstar (Apostle). When she’s not organizing an office coup, Madeline serves on ROLT’s marketing team and co-runs Yeah, Art!, a nonprofit bringing tech-forward arts education to underfunded schools. She would like to thank her dad, Bob, for being her biggest fan and favorite dance partner (@maddylamborghini / @yeahart_)

  • Addam Ledamyen (Josh/Ensemble)

    Addam Ledamyen is thrilled to be making their Ray Of Light Theatre debut! They studied Theatre at Oakland School for the Arts then received their BA in Musical Theatre from American University (DC). Since returning to the Bay Area, they have been Officer O'Hara in Arsenic and Old Lace with Center REP and performs regularly as a company member of Synergy Theater, an improvisational theatre company that performs full-length improvised plays in a variety of styles. Addam is in the final semester of their MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts and Writing at CIIS. In addition to acting and improvising, Addam is a playwright, novelist, and teacher. They have combined their passions by recently founding a non-profit, For Elenvia: Publications and Productions, with the mission to produce new art, books and plays especially, that help us to imagine a better world.   • Leslie Chocano (Maria/Ensemble)

    Leslie Chocano (she/her) is a Bay Area native musical theater artist and worked with community theater companies like Berkeley Playhouse, Ray of Light, Sunnyvale Community Players, Redwood City Community Theater, West Valley Light Opera, and Pacifica Spindrift Players. Some of her past production credits include In the Heights, West Side Story, Catch Me If You Can, and The Addams Family Musical. She also works as an Artistic Associate for Latiné Musical Theatre Lab, and as a performer, producer, and social media coordinator for Rise Above It Productions and Haus of Win. She hopes to continue to build towards creating a more inclusive and diverse theater environment.

  • Caroline Shen (Kathy/Ensemble)

    Caroline is thrilled to be back on stage with Ray of Light Theatre! She’s excited to join another production featuring strong women—most recently portraying Bertha in The Hello Girls at Sonoma Arts Live. Other recent credits include understudying with San Francisco Playhouse and appearing in a supporting role in a women-led independent film. By day, she’s a product designer at Slack and a lifelong outdoors lover on a quest to visit every U.S. national park. She has experienced the joy (and occasional chaos) of fostering a few sweet dogs and hopes to continue. Whether onstage or on the trail, she’s always in search of the next great adventure. @carolosophy

    David is excited to be making his Ray of Light debut! He was last seen in Beautiful (CMTSJ Marquee Productions). Love to his family, friends, and Justin for all the support.

  • Lillian Kurtz (Ensemble)

    Lillian is thrilled to be apart of the 9to5 cast with ROLT. She was last seen in Rock Of Ages with Tri-Valley Theater Company. Her other recent Bay Area credits include Chicago with Plethos Productions, Rent with Hillbarn Theater, Mame with 42nd Street Moon and In The Heights with Center Repertory Company. She wants to thank her friends and family for their continued support of her passion in musical theater.

  • Michelle Skinner (Ensemble)

    Michelle Skinner is excited to be making Ray of Light debut with 9 to 5! Most recently, she was in Motherhood Out Loud! at Montalvo Arts Center. Michelle is an alumnus of UC Irvine, and a graduate of South Coast Repertory's acting program. Other shows include: Puffs (Megan Jones), The Play that Goes Wrong (Sandra), Bright Star (Margo), One Man, Two Guvnors (Pauline), and Steel Magnolias (Shelby).

  • Gwyneth Forrester (Ensemble)

    Gwyneth Forrester is thrilled to be part of 9 to 5, marking her first production with Ray of Light and her return to the stage after a hiatus from theatre since 2019. She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University and an AA in Theatre Arts from Foothill College. Previous credits include Cinderella (FMT) as Charlotte, Thoroughly Modern Millie (SBMT) in the ensemble, and She Kills Monsters (FMT) as Agnes. She is deeply grateful to be performing again and dedicates this to her loved ones, always.

  • Samantha Rich (Daphne/Ensemble)

    Samantha is ecstatic to be making her Ray of Light debut! Recent credits include Sister Act (Mary Patrick, Mary Robert u/s) and Anastasia (Anya u/s) at Woodminster Summer Musicals, The Prom (Emma) at Foothill Music Theatre, The Sound of Music (Maria u/s) at Hillbarn Theatre, and Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Mary Bennet) at Altarena Playhouse. She received her BFA in Acting from Hofstra University. She sends love to her friends, family, and Liam for their support.   • Nico Jaochico (Ensemble)

    Making his Ray of Light Theatre debut, Nico Jaochico has spent a majority of his time working all throughout the Bay Area Theatre Community and is honored to be performing with this prestigious company alongside some of the most talented artists around. Previous credits include Joey Evans in Pal Joey (Altarena Playhouse), Nick in The Prom (Berkeley Playhouse), Plankton in The Spongebob Musical (Palo Alto Players), U/S Actor 5 & 6 in Exotic Deadly: or the MSG Play (San Francisco Playhouse) and Mark Cohen in RENT (Landmark Musical Theatre), among many others!   • Jason Nunan (Tinsworthy)

    Jason attended the University of Pennsylvania and was a member of the renowned Mask & Wig Club. He earned an MFA in Drama at Catholic University and in New York City he studied at the T. Shrieber Studio. Here in the Bay area he appeared as Mr. Price in “Kinky Boots”, as Shylock in “Something Rotten” and as Elle’s Dad in Legally Blonde. He is a founding member of the Jad Bernardo Fan Club.

  • Mackenzie Macdonald (Anita/Ensemble)

    Mackenzie is thrilled to be performing with Ray of Light for her third consecutive season! Her journey here has taken her from high school in Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical (Ensemble/Cecile US) to Harvard Law in Legally Blonde (Ensemble/Vivienne US), and now she's finally graduated to the working world in 9 to 5! Other recent credits include Something Rotten at Hillbarn (Ensemble // BATCC Awards: Best Ensemble, Best Production Bay Area) and Be More Chill at Vanderbilt University (Chloe). She is so grateful to be part of this incredible production and seriously loves nothing more than spending her evenings rehearsing for 9 to 5 after finishing her own 9 to 5. Enjoy the show!

  • Mateo Urquidez (Ensemble)

    Mateo Urquidez (he/him/his) is thrilled to be making his Ray of Light Theatre debut in 9 to 5, apart of the featured ensemble. Apart from receiving his Bachelors in Theatre Arts this past May at San Francisco State University, Mateo was last seen in Altarena Playhouse’s Grease this past March (Teen Angel/Eugene/Vince Fontaine), and in Berkeley Playhouse’s The Prom, this past September, in the teen/adult ensemble.

  • Maggie Connard (Swing)

    Maggie Connard is a teaching artist and performer who graduated with a BA in Dance from Point Park University. She teaches Rhythm & Motion, ballet, jazz, tap, and musical theatre dance to children and adults. Maggie has performed with SF Playhouse, Shotgun Players, Presidio Theater, Broadway By the Bay and Contra Costa Musical Theater in productions of A Chorus Line, Singing in the Rain, Chicago, Cabaret, White Christmas and Peter Pan. She is thrilled to be working with Ray of Light on this production!

  • Z Hansen (Swing)

    Z Hansen is happy to be coming back to Ray of Light for 9 to 5! Previous credits include: Ensemble/u/s Warner in Legally Blonde (Ray of Light), Perchik in Fiddler on the Roof (CCCT), Tybalt in Romeo/Juliet (Marin Shakes) and Priest/u/s Simon in Jesus Christ Superstar (Berkeley Playhouse). Z missed everybody here and is glad to be coming back to the Victoria again.

Meet the Production Team for 9 to 5 the Musical

  • Christina Lazo, Director and Choreographer

    Christina is thrilled to be working with Ray of Light for the first time! She has worked around the Bay Area with companies such as 42nd Street Moon, Woodminster Amphitheatre, Contra Costa Musical Theatre, Berkeley Playhouse, Bay Area Musicals, Pacific Coast Repertory Theatre, and many more. Some favorite productions include The Prom, West Side Story, All Shook Up and Memphis. Christina is also passionate about arts education and is the Executive Artistic Director of Musical Theatre Works, a training and performance company for young actors in San Francisco.     Jad Bernardo, Music Director.   • Zach Isen, Assistant Director/Choreographer

    Zach Isen was born and raised in the Bay Area and holds a BFA in drama from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He has also studied at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, The Performing Arts Project, and the International Theatre Institute in Amsterdam. Zach has worked as a choreographer, director, and set designer at theatres around the Bay Area. Zach currently co-runs the theatre department at The Nueva School in San Mateo, and has worked at many schools including Oakland School for the Arts, Bay Area Children’s Theatre, The Urban School of San Francisco, and The Performing Arts Academy of Marin. He has performed with companies such as San Francisco Playhouse, Ray of Light Theatre, The Mountain Play, Hillbarn Theatre, Marin Musical Theatre Company, and Sierra Repertory Theatre.

  • Matt Owens, Scenic Design/Technical Director

    MATT OWENS (he/him) is a San Francisco-based scenic designer and technical director. His design credits include;Ray of Light Theatre’s: “Next To Normal”, “Legally Blonde”,“Everybody’s Talking About Jamie”, "Cruel Intentions" and "Spring Awakening". Also, Detour Productions "Pompeii", NCTC’s “Ruthless”, “Ride The Cyclone”, and The Tutor”; Hillbarn Theatre’s “Elf”, and "I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change”, He designed Custom Made Theatre’s "Shoshana in December” (2022).   • Weili Shi, Lighting Designer

    Weili Shi (Lighting Designer) is thrilled to be back working 5 to 9 with so many of her favorite theatre artists! Previously with ROLT: Legally Blonde, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Cruel Intentions, Spring Awakening, Kinky Boots, and American Psycho: The Musical (SFBATCC/TBA nomination). Other favorite credits include Hadestown (American Conservatory Theater's Young Conservatory) and Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (Shotgun Players). She holds a BA in Performing and Media Arts from Cornell University and works 9 to 5 as a product designer at Airtable. Endless thanks to Daniel, Austin, and Stephen!

  • Tammy Berlin, Costume Designer

    Tammy Berlin began her theatre career in Chicago where she was the Artistic Director of Transient Theatre and Heroes Inc. Ensemble and The Managing Director of The Playwrites’ Center. After moving to the Bay Area she switched her focus to costume design. She has designed shows, Marin Shakespeare Company, Bay Area Children’s Theatre, Berkeley Opera, Broadway By the Bay, St. Mary’s College, PlayGround SF. 42 nd St. Moon and Berkeley Playhouse, as well as films for Flying Moose Productions, Videosyncrasy and EyeQ Films. She has been the resident designer for Central Works for the past 21 seasons.

  • Erik Scanlon, Video Designer

    Erik Scanlon (Video Designer) is an award-winning filmmaker and multimedia designer, who previously worked at ROLT as a Director (Heathers), Assistant Director (Triassic Parq) and as a Video/ Projection Designer (Everybody's Talking About Jaime, Cruel Intentions, American Psycho, Jesus Christ Superstar, Carrie). Video design credits include: Sweet Charity (SJ Stage), SQREAM (Oasis), Water by the Spoonful (TheatreWorks), Sunday in the Park with George (Foothill Music Theatre), Aulis (UC Berkeley), Faulted (foolsFury Theatre Company), James and the Giant Peach (Bay Area Children’s Theatre- US and Shanghai) Firework (TheatreFirst) and Heat Wave: The Jack Cole Project (Off Broadway).     Laundra is known for her incisive style sense and incredible bespoke creations. She is the is the founder and creative force behind Wigs by Tips. A veteran of the San Francisco drag scene in her own right, Laundra served as wig master for Beach Blanket Babylon, the longest-running live theatre revue in history.

  • Jenna Forder, Props Designer

    Jenna Forder (she/her) is a Bay Area artist, designer and maker. Designing sets, props and occasionally mythical creatures, she enjoys being a part of and contributing to the world of theater she loves. Jenna has been the scenic designer and technical director for the Youth Stage Conservatory at Berkeley Playhouse Theater since 2022. Other companies she works with include A.C.T., Shotgun Players and New Conservatory Theatre Center. jennaforder.com

  • Lindsey McIntire, Stage Manager

    Lindsey McIntire is a Stage Manager and Production Manager from Tracy, CA, and is beyond excited to be working with Ray of Light Theatre! They currently serve as Production Manager for the African-American Shakespeare Company. Lindsey has had the joy of stage managing productions such as Taming of the Shrew, Pipeline, AASC’s Cinderella (2023 & 2024), Xanadu, and Footloose. Their set design work has been featured in The Little Mermaid Jr., The Wiz Jr., and the Sara Bareilles Award–nominated production of The Addams Family, where they also served as Technical Director. Lindsey is thrilled to be stage managing this production of 9 to 5 and hopes you enjoy the show!

  • Kevin Kress, Assistant Stage Manager

    Excited to be returning to the wings as an Assistant Stage Manager for Ray of Light Theatre. This production marks four seasons with the company. Looking forward to many more in the future to help support with these amazing talents in Bay Area theatre.

  • Shaila Sarathy, 2nd Assistant Stage Manager

    This is Shaila's second production with Ray of Light Theatre, and she is so excited to be returning to the Victoria Theatre for "9 to 5"! She currently works as a technician for The Marsh, and in her downtime she loves cycling around the Bay Area and reading a good book.

  • Felix Mack, Lead Spot Op

    Felix is delighted to return to Ray of Light for 9-5! When he's not producing films he loves to support live theater.

  • Erin Sweeney, Production Manager

    Erin Sweeney (She/Her) has been production managing and stage managing in the Bay Area for the past fifteen years, most recently as the Stage Manager for Ride the Cyclone at the New Conservatory Theatre Center and the touring Assistant Stage Manager for the Reduced Shakespeare Company. This is her third show as the Production Manager at Ray of Light and she is so happy to be back! Favorite past shows include Dreamgirls, West Side Story, and Memphis. She completed a stage management fellowship at the American Conservatory Theater where she worked on Hamlet, The Birthday Party, A Walk on the Moon, and several projects with the Conservatory program.
